Sustainable materials take centre stage with a dynamic welcome feature, created in collaboration with ACAN!, EcoCocon, and UK CLT. This showcase highlights circularity, innovation, and regenerative design through interactive displays, live podcast recordings, and a striking mass timber installation.

Showcase & Fringe Programme
The Architects Climate Action Network (ACAN!) presents a hands-on, interactive space featuring low-carbon materials, live demonstrations, and workshops. Thought leaders including Duncan Baker-Brown, Nick White, and Nick Newman will lead discussions on embodied carbon, circular economy, and sustainable design.
CascadeUp

A Circular Timber Innovation
Developed by UK CLT and UCL’s Circular Economy Lab, CascadeUp is an innovative mass timber structure demonstrating the reuse of reclaimed wood in construction. As part of the Welcome Feature, it provides a photo opportunity while showcasing sustainable material reuse in the built environment.
Futurebuild Podcast Studio
Supplied by EcoCocon
A dedicated podcast recording studio at the heart of Futurebuild, supplied by EcoCocon, will host live discussions on net zero, circular design, and innovation. The studio itself is constructed using Cradle to Cradle Certified® bio-based panels, demonstrating low-carbon construction principles.
Thrive in Construction Podcast

Live at Futurebuild
For the first time, the Thrive in Construction Podcast, hosted by Darren Evans, will record live at Futurebuild. The studio will feature discussions with high-profile guests, covering topics such as climate action, sustainable materials, and the future of design.
Futurebuild Bar 2025

A Hub for Innovation and Collaboration
Curated by Natural Building Systems and GS1 UK, the Futurebuild Bar 2025 will highlight bio-based materials, digital innovation, and industrialised construction. The space will also host a regenerative design hackathon, material workshops, and building performance discussions.

Innovating for a Low-Carbon Future

Europe’s Largest C2C Certified Showcase
The 540 WORLD Cradle to Cradle Certified® Community Showcase returns, now the largest in Europe, featuring brands like Madaster, Graphenstone, and Accoya. The 540 WORLD Materials Stage will host expert discussions on circular materials and sustainability.
UKGBC

Driving Change for a Low-Carbon Future
In partnership with Mitsubishi Electric UK, Interface, and Chetwoods Architects, UKGBC will present insights into the circular economy, regenerative places, and supply chain decarbonisation. Engage with main stage events, panel discussions, and a materials workshop.
UKDEA

Heat Network Zone & Training Hub
The UK District Energy Association (UKDEA) will showcase heat network innovations, with exhibitors including CeraPhi Energy, Aquatherm UK, and Heatweb Solutions. Sessions will cover policy, regulation, and expanding heat networks.
Retrofit

Best Practice Showcase
The Association of Retrofit Consultants (ARC) will host VR demos, PAS 2035 software training, and case studies from Retrofit Academy Members, providing insights into best practices in retrofit delivery.
Regenerative Architecture Index

Exploring the Regenerative Architecture Index
The Regenerative Architecture Index (RAI), developed by Architecture Today and UK Architects Declare, will showcase how buildings can restore ecosystems and communities. A panel discussion on March 4 will feature leading architects exploring regenerative design.
RISE

Retrofit Information, Support & Expertise at Futurebuild 2025
RISE, funded by DESNZ, offers free training, guidance, and expertise to support social housing providers, local authorities, and supply chains in delivering domestic retrofit programmes. Live knowledge-sharing sessions will provide practical insights on PAS 2035 and scaling up retrofit.
GRO Pavilion

Greening the Built Environment
The GRO Pavilion will showcase green roofing and urban greening solutions, with exhibitors including LRWA, Buzon, Sika Ltd, and Optigrun. Discover the latest in biodiversity, climate resilience, and sustainable urban design.

Insights from Heat Pump Ready & Green Home Finance Accelerator

Austrian Pavilion

Showcasing Green Building Innovation
The Austrian Pavilion (Stand H20) will feature CO₂-neutral modular timber buildings, sustainable energy solutions, and water-saving technologies. On March 4, a delegation of Austrian innovators will visit Futurebuild, alongside a presentation on Austria’s circular placemaking strategies by Peter Franklin (Advantage Austria).
