Simon Ayers is CEO of TrustMark, the only Government Endorsed Quality Scheme for work carried out in or around the home. He leads a hardworking and dedicated team, supported by an independent Board in the delivery of TrustMark’s core objective which is to ensure quality, compliance and customer protection across the home-improvement and retrofit sectors. Simon’s career spans over 40 years, starting out as a domestic gas engineer and progressing over the years to various corporate and leadership roles across the energy and construction sector until joining TrustMark as CEO in 2014. Simon has earned a reputation for his vision, passion, and dedication as a leader in the industry and is the driving force behind what’s at the heart of TrustMark’s success: consumer trust and confidence. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and riding motorbikes. Simon’s main claim to fame is that Ayers Rock (now known as Uluru) was named after his great, great Grandfather who was Governor of Southwestern Australia.
