Senior Research Associate in Material Efficiency in Construction, Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge and member of the Use Less Group
Dr Dunant is a material scientist with a background in concrete durability and Micromechanics and his current activities focus on the reduction of the emissions linked to construction.
Within the broader UKFIRES project, he is looking at better design strategies and tools; but also novel means of producing and using bulk materials, from steel reuse to decarbonated cement production.
He is the chair of a RILEM sub-committee on ASR, a concrete durability problem, and Lead Technical Consultant on cement for the Climate Bond Initiative.
