Chief Executive of the British Occupational Hygiene Society and Chair of British Standards Institute’s Health and Safety Management Committee.

He is visiting Professor of Law and the University of Gloucestershire Business School and formerly a Professor of Public Law, Foreign Office and United Nations Advisor.

He has been actively engaged in construction, technology and environmental issues and is a member of the Health in Construction Leadership Group.
