The Verification of Energy Savings through SuperHomes

03 March / 11.15 - 1200

The UK has 26 million homes that need whole house retrofit to achieve net zero carbon by 2050. But how can the carbon savings from a whole home retrofit be verified and what it is like to live in a such a home? In this session you can find out about the work that has been done by the National Energy Foundation to develop a five star SuperHomes Rating Scheme which verifies the true energy savings following retrofit, plus the health and comfort of residents.  In this session you can also hear from a Pioneer SuperHomer about what living in a SuperHome has been like for them.
