Peter graduated from Leeds University with a degree in classics in 1981, prior to studying architectural technology at Northumbria University. This was followed by several years in practice in the industry, joining Ryder in 1995 to lead teams delivering a wide range of projects in the leisure, education, manufacturing and healthcare sectors, as well as heading the systems improvement and innovation workstream which included the early adoption of BIM technologies across the practice from 2003.
