Call for workforce reforms to tackle construction skills crisis

A CSJ report warns the construction sector will miss the 1.5 million homes target without major reform. With an ageing workforce, declining young entrants and a need for 48,000 extra workers a year, the study calls for overhaul of training, recruitment and labour models to rebuild capacity and attract new talent.
