Hertfordshire has launched its first countywide Retrofit Strategy, uniting councils, businesses, housing providers, educators and communities to accelerate energy upgrades across 483,000 homes by 2050. Aimed at tackling leaky, inefficient housing, the plan builds on £100m already secured for improvements. It seeks to cut emissions, lower bills, boost health, and grow a thriving retrofit economy through coordinated action.
