The emergence of Danish and German water quality standards and their use in the UK have seen a shift from traditional water treatment regimes to non chemical standards. Electrochemistry has increasingly been the system of choice to deliver these standards and MCS, one of the UK’s foremost independent testing and consultancy services for corrosion, recently completed a report on the efficacy of this approach in dealing with the causal elements of corrosion.
