Inspired by the potter wasp, which builds its own home using locally sourced materials, WASP was founded with the mission of developing large-scale 3D printers to construct homes with natural materials available locally. In 2018, WASP built its first 3D printed house in raw earth, named Gaia, marking the beginning of a journey that has since seen significant achievement in the field of sustainable architectural 3D printing. Now, we’re ready for the next step: To more efficiently manage the growing demand in the construction sector, WASP has launched a new innovative startup, WASP 3D Build, dedicated to building sustainable architectural modules worldwide using WASP technology.
