Secondary Glazing works as an additional layer of glazing for your existing windows. This will form a double-glazed solution that you can fit yourself. Once fitted, the double glaze can easily be removed when not required. Secondary glazing helps with heat retention and reduced sound and is ideal for buildings where renovations are not possible or limited; such as listed buildings.
The Steel Tape should be fixed to your window frame, whilst the Magnetic Tape should be fixed to the clear acrylic panel, which is then attached to the steel on the window frame.
You could use the magnetic tape on some fine mesh which can act as a Fly Screen in the summer with the existing Steel Tape. You could also use black opaque acrylic which will create a blackout window to stop light coming in.
