SARAH-JONES MORRIS

Multi-award-winning Landsmith Associates director Sarah Jones-Morris is a Fellow of the Landscape Institute and is a landscape architect and urbanist. Landsmith Associates are dynamic and passionate about the ecosystem and evidence-led approaches for healthier, creative, climate resilience, diverse places for people and nature. We are a Bristol-based limited company who collaborate with communities, developers, local authorities, hospitals and charities, universities and housing associations. We have a depth and breadth variety of experience working on a wide range of projects with various scales, contexts and complexity from feasibility to implementation and post-occupancy. 
 
Sarah is a Building with Nature assessor and is a Design Council Expert and was selected at one of the Design Council’s Leading Women in Design. She is also vice-chair of the Landscape Institute South West and co-founder of Association of Collaborative Design CIC. In 2018 she became UK ambassador for Hush City citizen science programme on soundscapes and quiet spaces and founded Bristol Soundwalks.
 
Recent works include the community-led housing We Can Make project with Knowle West Media Centre, Greening Eastside, a play, ecology and landscape project in east Bristol. Also, Bedminster Green Masterplan, in collaboration with Bristol City Council, Green Infrastructure Strategy for the University of Bristol. In late 2020, Landsmith Associates, as part of the jointly winning design team with Igloo Regeneration for Home of 2030 competition.
