Report shows modular construction emits 45% less carbon than traditional methods
According to researchers from the University of Cambridge and Edinburgh Napier University, factory-built houses emit 45 per cent less carbon than traditional construction methods.
In a recent study, two modular housing schemes designed by HTA Design, comprised almost 900 homes, saved over 28,000 tonnes of carbon.
