Project to design regeneratively to manage our material footprint
540 WORLD are bowled over by the Environment Agency’s Thames Estuary Asset Management 2100 (TEAM2100) agile efforts to put their goals into action. These Deptford Walls Accoya fenders are both an innovation and an extension of their previous world-first sustainable Cradle to Cradle Certified® Accoya® wood fender in the Thames Estuary showcasing how sustainability in action goes beyond material choices. This is another exemplar world-first project with International Timber, Accoya® Wood Brand, 540 WORLD, Jacobs and TEAM2100 of designing regeneratively with certified healthy materials to improve biodiversity and support water quality and climate protection by using fast-growing uncoated timber, enabling improvements to places where we place our material footprints.
