Mixergy develop smart and connected hot water tanks which enable households to live better, save money, and reduce their impact on the environment.
Since our launch in 2017, Mixergy has become a market leader in hot water tank innovation.
We are re-thinking how hot water is done, using technology to find cost-effective and convenient solutions which help people live more sustainably. We do this by giving our customers the ability to take control of their energy consumption, reduce their energy bills, and optimise the use of renewable energy. Through technology, we are unlocking new opportunities for customers to have greater choice and flexibility in how they meet their hot water needs.
We work with some of the leading companies in our sector and punch above our weight in the industry. Our tanks are installed through an expanding network of plumbers and heating engineers, as well as through British Gas – the UK’s largest heating installation provider.
We work with leading international manufacturers, progressive housebuilders, social housing providers, and other key industry stakeholders to deliver the solutions that the market needs – both now and in the future. Most importantly we listen to the community of Mixergy customers who help us to continually improve our product and service solutions. Together, we are transforming our industry and growing a strong and prosperous cleantech economy.
We are making change happen through the mass market deployment of our smart hot water tanks in the UK and overseas. But our ambitions stretch beyond individual homes. We are the first to intelligently connect a decentralised, digital network of hot water tanks that provide flexibility to the grid and support the clean energy transition. Already we are delivering more than three megawatt of Demand Side Response (DSR) service to the National Grid, time shifting demand to help balance the grid and facilitate the uptake of renewable energy generation. In the future, we see Mixergy customers benefiting directly from grid service revenues as well as even cheaper energy bills.
The 2020s is the decade to decarbonise heat, providing a new era of digitalisation and decentralised clean power generation, placing more control in the hands of consumers. As we look ahead to 2030, our goal is to provide a clear path to transition from fossil fuel heating to low and zero carbon alternatives, enabling us to achieve our vision to make hot water cheaper, greener, and better for all.
