TECHNICAL CONSULTANT – DRYLINING SOLUTIONS

At Saint-Gobain Interior Solutions, we are looking for a talented Technical Consultant to be a part of our Technical Support team, focusing on our drylining brands and products. In the role, you will be providing market leading, bespoke, and creditable solutions whilst also responding quickly and accurately to customer enquiries thereby delighting the customer encouraging them to return whilst maximising SGIS specification opportunities. What you will be doing: Creating relationships with allocated key partnerships or market sectors to deliver technical support solutions and services to meet required service level agreements Demonstrates the relevant level of technical competence to carry out the role efficiently Understanding of the market and exploring ways of understanding customers’ needs Providing general and bespoke technical advice to allocated customers both externally and internally Keeping abreast of the latest technical and legislative changes

The working hours for this role will be Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, based out of our East Leake offices. Hybrid working will be an option after an initial period of training.

REQUIREMENTS
Relevant experience in building physics, thermal properties/calculations/modelling or Psi values in a relevant degree or within a design, specification or technical role – preferably in relation to dry lining products and materials
Ability to work under pressure in a customer facing environment
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to learn and participate in continuous development of technical knowledge
Understanding of the specification route to market
