At Bauder, our dedication to sustainability is ever-growing and is becoming a fundamental aspect of everything we do. As part of our continuous efforts to reduce our environmental impact, the management team recently completed Carbon Literacy Training to understand how to achieve a zero-carbon future.
Carbon literacy means clearly understanding carbon emissions, their environmental impact, and how to reduce them. The informative training programme encourages thought on individual carbon output and how it can be reduced. An assessment is carried out on completion of the training; this asks the participant to put forward a pledge to reduce personal carbon emissions by a certain amount.
Following the success of CLO accreditation among the management team, Tom Raftery, sustainability lead at Bauder, continues to promote carbon literacy training throughout the organisation to align values of achieving a sustainable future.
