The Kensa Shoebox ground source heat pump is a small and compact system that fits inside an airing cupboard or kitchen cabinet. The Shoebox is quiet and discreet with noise levels that equate to a fridge freezer. It uses a non-flammable refrigerant as a safe alternative to combustion fossil fuels and renewables with flammable refrigerant.
The Shoebox can comfortably provide all heating and hot water demands, it produces hot water temperatures up to 65°C. The Shoebox is also capable of providing cooling, and this is a particularly useful addition for high-rise buildings in district heating schemes.
The installation process for the Shoebox is made easy with Kensa’s network of approved installers or you can utilise Kensa’s MCS Umbrella Scheme with your chosen installer. The Shoebox series is Connect & Notify-approved on the Energy Network Association’s (ENA) heat pump database, which saves time and money for consumers.
