In this session, we discuss how ground source heat pumps can be deployed at scale to deliver low carbon heating to domestic and non-domestic buildings. We will present our ‘street-by-street approach’ which features individual ground source heat pumps in each building connected to ambient temperature district heating. Additionally, we will introduce the concept of split ownership where Kensa funds the supply and installation of infrastructure to reduce upfront capital costs for building owners who then only have to buy the heat pumps.
