Alex Whitcroft, Director, KIN
Alex is an award-winning architect and sustainability expert. He is co-director of KIN – developers, architects, community-led housing enablers, and sustainability consultants, specialising in net zero carbon and Passivhaus homes.
He is passionate about creating environmentally and socially sustainable communities and homes – with his work spanning Passivhaus and net zero buildings, MMC construction innovation, community-led development, cradle-to-cradle design, digital platform design, and sustainability communications.
He is involved in sustainability advocacy and best practice guidance, including the RIBA Sustainable Futures Advisory Group, and LETI (a key contributor to the Climate Emergency Retrofit Guide), and regularly speaks on sustainable construction and community-led development.
