Carol Aitken, Public and Regulatory Affairs Manager, Vattenfall
Carol Aitken is the public and regulatory affairs for Vattenfall where she has worked for the past 4 years.    She has had a 20 year career in the energy sector having worked in the oil and gas sector including 12 years for Centrica,    At Vattenfall she works across all renewables sectors but is currently concentrating very much on the development of heat policy.   She also has had roles as non executive director of Energy Action Scotland, the leading Scottish fuel poverty charity, and on the board of the Centre for Energy Policy at Strathclyde University.    Whilst based in Scotland she works across government and policy development  north and south of the border.
