Chit Chong, Group Sustainability Manager, Peabody
Chit Chong is currently the Group Sustainability Manager for Peabody. As a committed environmentalist with an MA in Industrial Design Engineering and an MSc in Environmental Monitoring, he has worked in housing sustainability for over 20 years. Chit has run sustainability projects on a wide range of topics including low carbon retrofits, large scale insulation, communal heating and energy behaviour change and is pushing forward Peabody’s Sustainability Strategy for net zero.
Chit has been using his experience of deep retrofit projects in Camden and Lambeth, to help inform SHDF retrofit work in Peabody. This has included sustainability outreach to residents and developing information resources to help communicate the benefits of energy efficiency measures in residents’ homes as well as the work and inconvenience required to implement them.
