Ian Wilson, Group Chairman, Benx
Prior to joining Benx, Ian spent 25 years advising on mergers and acquisitions, including 15 years in New York. He was partner at both Ernst & Young and Grant Thornton and was a managing director at US investment bank, Bear Stearns. He joined Benx Facades in 2014, as Group CEO and became group Chairman in 2022. During this time, he has seen Benx evolve from a pure distributor to a value-added fabricator of innovative façade systems. Ian is leading Benx’s MMC strategy to become a leading supplier of façades targeting all modes of offsite construction – from LSF and timber-framed, panelised systems to complete volumetric units.
