Matt Taylor, Taylor Design Consultancy

Matthew is the Director of Taylor Design Consultancy, an independent construction consultant group, offering a wide range of services relating to drylining, fire-stopping and internal fit out. Matthew holds over 24 years’ experience in the construction industry, the majority being within the dry lining and internals sectors, and has previously held roles, directing the design department for a leading dry lining and internal fit-out specialist contractor, as well as technical management roles in the manufacturing sector, with two of the UK’s leading dry lining system manufacturers. Matthew’s previous experience has included responsibility for building, assigning, and instructing project design teams, managing risk and strategic delivery, as well as identifying and reporting on construction defects and identifying potential remedial solutions. In addition to this, Matthew has been involved with numerous FIS working groups and BSi panels, relating to the review and revision of relevant dry lining standards and industry related concerns.
