Shane Hussain, Founder and CEO, SNRG
A serial entrepreneur with more than 40 years of experience, Shane has seen it all.
Raised in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, where he still lives, he initially trained as a mechanic, before moving into the world of tech and data storage. Having launched, grown, and exited a number of technology and services businesses, Shane has extensive experience in leading successful acquisitions, company turnarounds, working with investment boards in both executive and non-executive positions.
Now he is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SNRG, his sixth start-up and arguably his most exciting, innovative, and challenging.
SNRG funds, develops, and operates smart local energy systems across the UK and has secured the backing of energy services giant, Centrica, as well as the investment of Antin Infrastructure Partners.
Describing himself as “old enough to have experienced a lot, and young enough to still have the energy to want to make a difference”, Shane is committed to making a better world for generations to come.
