Tom Wigg, Senior Advisor – Net Zero Carbon Buildings, UKGBC
Following a Master’s in astrophysics, Tom has spent the last 6 years working in sustainability in the built environment. Firstly, as a consultant delivering full spectrum sustainability and energy support on projects ranging from individual offices to mixed use, 10,000 home masterplans, before joining the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) Advancing Net Zero programme as a Senior Advisor on Net Zero Carbon Buildings in 2021. Tom sits on the Technical Steering Group of the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard initiative and co-leads its Top Down Task Group, as well as leading UKGBC’s project to deliver phase 2 of their guidance on Renewable Energy Procurement. He also sits on the LETI Steering Group and is part of the Whole Life Carbon Network (WLCN).
