Low Carbon Materials (LCM) is a climate tech company focusing on developing low-carbon, next-generation construction material alternatives in the race to Net-Zero.
LCM is developing a portfolio of products that address the emissions associated with materials and the current lack of circularity. Recognising the role and dependency on concrete in the built environment, which accounts for 8% of global carbon emissions led to the development of the company’s flagship product, OSTO®. In partnership with National Highways, Skanska and Tarmac, LCM has gone on to develop a new carbon negative aggregate, ACLA, for net zero asphalt to help decarbonise the road network.
