Shaping the future of retrofit: Introducing the 2026 steering group
As the curators of The National Retrofit Conference, The Retrofit Academy has brought together a new Steering Group to help shape the programme for the 2026 National Retrofit Conference, taking place from 12 – 14 May at Excel London, part of Futurebuild 2026.
The National Retrofit Conference is the UK’s flagship event focused on the delivery of high-quality, scalable retrofit. To ensure the 2026 edition reflects the latest thinking, challenges, and innovations in the sector, we’ve assembled a group of leading voices to guide its development.
Chaired by David Pierpoint, Founder and Chief Executive of The Retrofit Academy, the National Retrofit Conference Steering Group includes senior figures from across policy, housing and construction.
The Steering Group will play a key role in curating a compelling, insight-led agenda, driving conversations that support the delivery of retrofit at pace and scale.
