The Big Innovation Pitch will be back in action at Futurebuild 2026 and is where the industry’s most exciting innovators will battle it out to showcase their latest game-changing innovations and revolutionary ideas in front of a live audience.

  • Meaningful innovation
    What problem does the innovation address, and why is it genuinely new or transformative for the built environment?
  • Connection & Collaboration
    How does it enable better collaboration across the value chain, or connect people, systems, materials or data in new ways?
  • Reuse, Circularity & Resource Efficiency
    How does the innovation support reuse, adaptability and circular economy principles, including waste and resource reduction?
  • Regenerative & Planet-Positive Impact
    Does it go beyond reducing harm to actively contribute to planetary health, biodiversity, social value or regenerative outcomes?
  • Net Zero, Resilience & Future Readiness
    How does it support the transition to net zero while improving resilience to climate, economic or resource challenges?
  • Evidence & Industry Impact
    What proof supports the claims (e.g. LCA data, carbon savings, case studies), and how could this innovation scale to change industry practice?
